wetroom drainage
Every Impey wetroom drainage product is designed by our in-house R&D team and made in the UK to pair precisely with our Aqua-Dec floor formers. That means flow rates, gradients, and waste positions all line up the way they should. The range covers gravity and pumped wastes, slim profiles for shallow build-ups, and dedicated options for both tiled and vinyl finishes. Our laser-cut stainless steel drain tops are height-adjustable from 6mm to 26mm to suit any tile depth and come in finishes from polished chrome to brushed gold.
Choosing the right wetroom drainage for your project
The right wetroom drainage depends on three things: how the floor will be finished, where the soil pipe sits, and how much water the shower needs to move per minute. For tiled wetrooms, our Tiled Gravity and Tiled Pumped Wetroom Wastes sit flush with the surrounding floor and accept any of our designer Aqua-Dec drain tops. For vinyl safety flooring, common in healthcare and social housing adaptations, the Vinyl Gravity and Vinyl Pumped options use a clamped collar that bonds directly to the sheet vinyl for a fully sealed, hygienic finish. Where the waste pipe sits below the shower, gravity drainage is the simplest and most reliable choice.
Where it doesn’t, our pumped wetroom wastes pair with our shower waste pump kits to lift water up to the soil stack. The Slim+ range is built specifically for shallow floor build-ups where a standard 75mm waste won’t fit, making it a regular specification for first-floor and timber-joist installations. If you’re not sure which drain fits your floor former, our technical team can advise based on the floor type, build-up depth, and required flow rate.
